Queens of the Stone Age have recently released their first live CD/DVD. It's the best thing ever, bar none. From Billy F. Gibbons' guest spot to Josh Homme calling a guy in a white shirt a 'cock smoker', from the extended blues breakdown in No One Knows to a street corner performance of This Lullaby... It's definitely the best $15 I've ever spent.

I still can't decide on what I think of the band Gorillaz. I can't decide if it's funky or just gay. So I'll let you members of the GHZ tell me what to think.
Also I just went through knee surgery so I thought I'd tell you guys to take care of your knees. You'll miss them when their gone.

What did you do to your knee? I've picked up a little on all the different types of knee injuries since I live in such a huge ski town. Skiing competitively is pretty much asking to blow out a knee or two, so the town is fairly familiar with 'em. I'm pretty sure Tiger Woods came to Park City for his knee surgery, I guess the surgeons here are good too. Sadly, it is still Utah. Only kinda though.

The Gorillaz show at the Grammys was amazing. Almost enough to make me starting worming my way into their fanbase.

No no, it was a compliment! Unless it was more undetectable net sarcasm. I hate net sarcasm.

Well this is better than the last. The last thing was the best thing ever at the time. Now it's second.

obviously if you say something is the best thing ever and then later you say something else is the best thing ever the newer thing takes precedence

You mean you weren't being sarcastic? And P.W.B. is typing in only lower-case letters? Someone actually cares what other people think about them here?
Crimminy, has the board been invaded by Pod People in the last week?
Oh, and I'll check those discs out, too. My boom box is hungry for more....

I saw the Queens last year, and they weren't that great. I mean, sure they kicked ass here and there, but I don't think Josh Homme and the boys were all that thrilled to play in Texas. (Come to think of it, nobody really is.) But it was really neat when they changed up the songs. I always like when a band does that.

I can't tell when you're being sarcastic or not. Internet, serious business, etc.
