Well, considering that I have close to (or over, haven't checked in a while) 10,000 of them on my hard drive at the moment...

It's kind of hard to pick just one.

Probably the Shenmue theme (or one of its numerous incarnations).

This is probably from memory since I can't remember all the songs I like in video games. If you're talking of vocal songs, then here goes:

*1000 Words - FFX-2
*Suteki Da Ne - FFX
*Open Your Heart - SA
*Radical Dreamers - Chrono Cross
*Diamond in the Sky - Sonic R (yes, I like their song, shut up)
*Simple and Clean - KH
*Anything from Gitaroo Man
*The Chop-Chop Master Onion Song -Parappa 1

The Shenmue theme is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Beyond that, I can't really pick a favorite, nor can I claim to have any taste in music whatsoever.

Hikari and Hikari (PlanitB remix) from the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts.

I mean, considering who sings that song, does it surprise anyone that that song is my favorite game theme?

Squirrelknight's vote doesn't count.

Eh... It Doesn't Matter from Sonic Adventure 1 was always one of my favorite songs from anything.

That E.G.G.M.A.N song from SA2 was, how you say, the bomb diggity.

"Ditto"

I think it'd have to be from the Sonic series, not just because I like Sonic. They've always had pretty good music in general.

Does anyone else like the main theme from Viewtiful Joe? It's the credits/1st stage music. There's a tune that just catches on as you play through.

I'm gonna have to go with the Shenmue theme as well. I still hum that thing, and it's been about 6 months since I finished II.

Aria De Mezzo Carattere - FFVI

Out of the Sonic series, I'd say Open Your Heart
